Local bar association

Most people probably do not realize that there are many local Bar Associations in any given Circuit. I am a member of the Carrollwood Community Bar Association, which is a local bar association for lawyers who practice north of Busch Boulevard in Hillsborough County, Florida.

The members of this association handle many different areas of law. Likewise, Plant City and Brandon have associations, as well.

If finding a lawyer in your area is important to you, Google your area along with the term “Bar Association” and see if there is a directory of lawyers in your area that can offer assistance.

Most lawyers no longer advertise in the Yellow Pages, so it is sometimes difficult to locate a lawyer in your area who handles issues that concern you. Using a local bar association’s website to locate a lawyer near you may work best.
